From Ed Sheeran to The Beatles with hundreds in between, the infamous Royal Albert Hall has been hosting music and theatre events for nearly 150 years. Now here’s your opportunity to decide who the next headliners will be.
The newly launched Young Producers Scheme invites 18-25-year-olds to curate and produce an event at this world-renowned London venue, giving aspiring event managers the opportunity to gain professional experience at this prestigious concert hall.
Applicants selected to take part in the programme will be chosen in September, before carrying out a six-month course in event management, marketing and programming. After completing this course, you will launch the events you’ve created over two nights, Friday 6th and Saturday 7th April 2018. These events will be held in several venues at the Hall: Verdi, the North Circle Bar and the Elgar Room where Dame Judi Dench once trained, among many other stars.
Anyone can apply for the Young Producers Scheme, whether you’re about to finish your degree or you’ve already graduated. This programme is a great opportunity to develop your skills and gain new contacts in the creative industry. Although no experience is required, all applicants must have a passion for the arts, and a professional interest in this industry is also essential. In addition, all applicants must be able to commit to fortnightly meetings from the end of September 2017 to early April 2018, 1-4pm.
If the Young Producers Scheme sounds like something you’d be interested in, don't hesitate to get in touch. Applications will be accepted until 8th September 2017. To find out more, visit https://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/series/young-people/young-producers/.
