Which professional qualifications are recognised in the business sector?
The following professional bodies give members the opportunity to obtain professional qualifications:
•Chartered Management Institute (CMI) - the only chartered body in the UK dedicated to management and leadership. Offers a range of qualifications from entry level to chartered manager status, which is the highest level that can be achieved in the managerial profession.
•Institute of Consulting (IC) - an organisation within the CMI that offers consulting and business support qualifications at award, certificate and diploma level. These qualifications can take from a few weeks to a few months to complete. Also provides the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) award, which is the top accolade for consultants.
