Tuesday, 14 October 2014 14:49

 - Whether you are looking to change career direction, improve your job prospects or simply pursue a passion, London Met is an excellent choice for postgraduate study. We offer a diverse range of taught and research degrees starting in September and January that will enhance your employability and help to improve your earning potential.

Many of our programmes are accredited and we provide learning to help you pursue careers in areas where postgraduate qualifications are mandatory such as teaching and law. We also have an excellent network of industry partners and guest speakers from many sectors to aid your learning.

Postgraduate study is not just about getting a job – many of our students also contribute to the UK’s world-class academic reputation. Over 2/3 of our research within the latest Research Assessment Exercise was judged to be ‘internationally recognised’, internationally excellent’, or ‘world-leading’. Our active researchers are industry specialists in their fields, and are supported by a number of dynamic, multidisciplinary research centres.

We understand that postgraduate study is a big commitment. The application process, fees, the work/life balance and the step up in terms of learning and workload – it’s a lot to think about. Which is why we support you from the moment you enquire to the moment you get your first job or your promotion.

We have a range of student support services in place to help you with funding, finding accommodation, career paths and study groups to guide you through research techniques or dissertation writing.

You’ll find us located in some of the most exciting parts of London: Moorgate, Holloway and Aldgate. Our business school is situated in the City of London, the capital’s commercial district and home to some of the biggest global banking corporations and law firms in the world.

Our art school, The Cass, and our law department, can be found in Aldgate, at the heart of creative and cultural London near Brick Lane and countless artists and acclaimed galleries. In leafy north London, steps away from Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium and the independent shops and restaurants of Upper Street, you’ll find our Holloway campus, where the Faculty of Life Sciences and Computing and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities are situated.

At our Holloway campus, you’ll also discover our £30 million Science Centre, which is one of the largest teaching labs in Europe; a Learning Centre equipped with state-of-the-art workstations, quiet corners and technobooths; and sports facilities. We also have excellent specialist art and design studios and a mock courtroom to help budding lawyers practice for their future careers.
